Alesandra Bavilla turned in a solid performance on Saturday and highlighted a strong outing by Dillingham High School's boys and girls at the Bartlett State Preview cross country meet in Anchorage. In all, four Dillingham athletes — two boys and two girls — participated in a meet that featured more than 35 teams from throughout the state.

A total of 127 runners competed in the girls' division, including West Valley's talented tandem of Kendall Kramer and Faith Widman. The two finished first and second, respectively, en route to lead their squad to the team title.
