Austin King, Trevor Wilson and Hailey Wilson both had plenty of reason to be pleased on Saturday. They did, after all, see their respective teams do well at the 2016 Palmer Invitational.

A standout at Bristol Bay, King helped lead his team to a 10th-place finish in the Class 1A-2A-3A boys' standings, while the Wilsons helped lead their teams to fifth and sixth, in their respective divisions.

Trevor Wilson posted the fastest time among all Southwest Alaska runners at the meet, which was held on the Michael Janacek Trails in Palmer. He legged out a top 20 mark by finishing 15th overall. He covered the 5-kilometer course in a blistering time of 18 minutes and 2 seconds.
